Ich habe am 8.2.2023 ein Ersatzakku für mein Toshiba Laptop gekauft. Der Originalakku hatte ca. 7 Jahre gehalten. Der Akku von BattDepot war nach wenigen Monaten defekt. Die Rücksendung müsste nach England erfolgen. Zum einen kostet schon ein unversichertes Päckchen etwa die Hälfte des Preises für den Akku. Außerdem ist es mit DHL nicht zulässig Lithium-Akkus ins Ausland zu versenden. Da ich auch nicht sicher bin von der Firma einen heilen Akku als Ersatz zu bekommen werde ich das Geld wohl abschreiben.

I ordered a new battery for my laptop. When it arrived, it didn't have any charge at all as laptop batteries should. I installed it and it wouldn't charge at all so I contacted them to arrange a return. They state they will not pay for return shipping even if the battery is defective! I then bought a battery from Amazon with free shipping and it got here in 2 days and it works perfect! After I returned the battery to Battery Depot, I inquired again about the shipping and they said they would refund the shipping fee if they found the battery to be defective.
It has now been 3 weeks since they received the battery and I have not heard from them about the refund. They told me it would take 3-4 days.
I finally got a refund for the battery but they did not refund the shipping as promised. I will never buy from Battery Depot again!

I ordered the wrong battery and sent it back (my cost) and gave the information for the correct model number. Two weeks later I hadn't heard a thing and hadn't received a refund. They finally contacted me and said I needed to make a seperate order for the new battery. They could have told me this two weeks ago when they received the return. But the refund is still in refund limbo. Don't think I want to give them any more of my money.

Wrong battery was sent and there is basically no return option. You cannot call and no one replies to chat. Their policy states you will have to cover return shipping and they may not accept it for vague reasons. Do not order from this site. It is a rip off.

Ordered a battery for my laptop on January 17th with priority shipping, so I would get it in a decent amount of time. They didn't even make a shipping label until January 23rd. It's now the evening of the 30th and still no sign of my battery. Tried calling customer support three times and left messages, no calls back. The funny thing is, when you make an order, this is the information displayed directly under your order info:

"Processing - We are currently preparing your order. We are sorry that we are not able to modify or cancel the order at this point. All orders (of in-stock items) will be processed and shipped within 24 hours Monday through Friday (except public holiday)! All orders placed before 3:00PM PST will be shipped on the same business day. (All orders in weekends and North American holidays will be process at the next business day). Orders placed after 3:00PM PST will be processed and shipped on the next business day. A shipment notification email will be sent to the correspondent email address for reference once your order is dispatched."

What a bunch of bs. I should have paid more elsewhere, at least I would have had it by now.

I ordered batteries from Batterydepot about three years ago and I was pleased with the prompt delivery and service, so I naturally used them again when I need a few more.
I ordered six phone batteries and to my dismay, they would not take a charge. I talked to the sales dept and dealt with a very knowledgable rep who imediately sent out replacements that day, providing a prepaid label and carton for the return.
They will not get rich on my tiny order, but they were very impressive in dealing with my problem.

I used them in the past with no problem however this last time the batteries wouldn't fit properly in the phone. I called to tell them I wanted to return them and was instead buying a new phone. Even though batteries were defective, they would not pay for return shipping.
